In-home Physiotherapy

​In-home physiotherapy patients receive the same quality care that is offered in the clinic. This is a specialist service dedicated to providing high quality home based care in the Vancouver region. Instruction is focused on incorporating one's home environment to achieve individual rehabilitation goals. Communication back to relevant family members, care team and GPs by the physiotherapist is an essential component of the initial assessment and any subsequent sessions. Hospice care can also be provided if palliative care is indicated.

It is necessary to speak directly with the physiotherapist before the initial visit in order to establish if physiotherapy would be appropriate, if another family member or friend should be present, and what other services if any are involved.  Home sessions are one hour long.  Pacific physiotherapy is a professional physiotherapy corporation, meaning that business practices must abide by the rules and regulations set out by the College of Physical Therapists of B.C.
